I have found a new hobby, creating themes for the Sidekick LX

This may well lead to a spin off blog dedicated to just my SK LX themes. We will see if I get bored of it first. Just got my Sidekick LX and the novelty hasn't worn off yet.

Skull appears on a Totally Rad Show hoodie

Click on image above for large view of the pic

In the screen capture above we see an almost perfect skull image created by the combination of Jeff Cannata's apparel consisting of a long coat, "Totally Rad Show" hoodie, and a white T-Shirt that he is wearing underneath. The white rectangle on the right side was added to highlight the skull image. This Screen capture appears 33 minutes into the show. Although many can be seen after the 30 minute mark.

Amazing panoramic photo of the sun in the Arctic, during the 24 hours of sun season.

Title link takes you to the artists DeviantArt page.

Edit: After viewing the other pics on Anda's Deviantart page, I'm not sure this is a true "photographic" panorama, and is possibly CG, either way it's great!

Edit: Did you notice the sun never sets? Arctic Circle's 24 hours of light.

FYI Explaining my blog title.

What's the difference between a duck?
Answer: One of it's legs are both the same

You may not find it funny, but it is actually what is considered a nonsensical joke. I find them funny as hell, but I do have an odd sense of humor.

Other examples include:

If you roll an egg off the roof and it stops on the edge, how many bones are there in ice cream?
Answer: None because horses can't fly.

Did you walk to work or bring a bag lunch?

If you know of any others add them in the comments.

Also in full discloser the Shiny duck logo is actually a picture of a silver money box available at Links of London called the Fat Duck money box.

Blog devoted to mustaches of the 19th Century

Jason says:

I am a photographic archivist and while brainstorming ideas for National Archives Month (October) exhibits, I jokingly suggested "Mustaches of the Nineteenth Century." My boss let me run with it, and I created a daily mustache blog with the digital images I gathered from our collections here at the University of Kentucky.

The Human LCD - Amazing

South korea: boys cheering for their soccer teams. the most amazing thing is that they do this with their CLOTHES (not holding up cards). they have a jacket that is one color on the back, one on the front, and that they can open or close to show a third color shirt on the inside. One school has also figured out how to use their pants to make shading.

Boing Boing Expands to video

BoingBoing, One of the best sites on the net has made the next step, and is now producing Five minute vidcasts five times a week.

Quote from Wikipedia article

"Boing Boing started as a zine in 1988 by Mark Frauenfelder and Carla Sinclair. Issues were subtitled "The World's Greatest Neurozine". Associate editors included Gareth
Branwyn, Jon Lebkowsky, and Paco Nathan. Along with Mondo 2000, Boing Boing was an influence in the development of the cyberpunk subculture. Common themes include technology, futurism, science fiction, gadgets, intellectual property, Disney and politics. The last issue of the zine was #15.
Boing Boing became a website in 1995 and later relaunched as a weblog on January 21, 2000, described as a "directory of wonderful things." Over time, Mark Frauenfelder was joined by three co-editors: Cory Doctorow, David Pescovitz, and Xeni Jardin. All four Boing Boing contributors are or have been contributing writers for Wired magazine.

SOQ is back.

SOQ aka "Speaking of Quotes"

Soon to be known only as SOQ. What I mean by that is I am going to attempt to occasionally have a SOQ post which is a acronym for Speaking Of Quotes, if you had not figure that out.

Orca Highway

Free Passage
Orcas sprint along a channel which has opened in the ice. They are headed deep into McMurdo Sound, where they hope to find food. They must hurry, however, for wind conditions can cause the channel to freeze again, cutting off the whales' access to air.

Man lives after chair leg penetrates eye socket and throat

The picture shown to the right, is an X-ray of Shafique el-Fahkri, a 20-year-old student who was attacked outside of a Melbourne, Australia nightclub in January. During a brawl, another 20-year-old, Liam Peart, threw a metal-framed chair at Fahkri. The chair leg went through Fahkri's eye socket and down into his neck. Amazingly, Fahkri not only survived but did not lose his eye, which was pushed to the side by the chair leg. via Boing Boing

Casey Blake hits a home run, and his bat mysteriously stands on end after he drops it.

Amazing footage of Billy Wagner of the New York Mets pitching a home run ball to Casey Blake of the Cleveland Indians. The home run isn't amazing, it's the way the bat stands up after Blake drops it to trot the bases on his home run walk. Not sure this has ever happened before, or if it will ever happen again. Odd i found this on a German website, via Attuworld
